STAMFORD RESEARCH GROUP
RESEARCH AND BUSINESS
CONSULTANCY FOR THE
FREIGHT TRANSPORT INDUSTRY
GROUP SERVICES
The Stamford Research Group combines professional analytical expertise and up-to-date knowledge of market developments with a thorough understanding of freight operations and a practical approach to consultancy. Services include:
- Market studies: Market entry potential; niche and segmentation analysis; market size, shares, structures and behaviour; new product and service development; product and service evolution and improvement; image and customer satisfaction; competitor strategies.
- Management consultancy: Business strategy; organisation structures; marketing and management information; effective use of human resource;: pricing; merger, acquisition and partnership strategies; shipping, distribution and logistics.
- Feasibility: Planning and development: transport economics; supply and demand; international trade and financial forecasts; feasibility and cost benefit; investment evaluation.
Our consultants offer clients extensive experience as directors, senior managers, and strategic advisors in the freight transport industry. We are organised as a virtual corporation of independent consultants and specialist firms around the world, so that our project teams are tailored to the precise requirements of individual studies rather than the need to keep staff employed. With no overheads to speak of we give better value for money.
We provide an up-to date and thoroughly informed service. Our extensive transport library contains commercial information on industries, trades, companies and transport equipment, and we have Internet access. We offer an international trade data service, and are thoroughly conversant with international trade and transport statistics.
We keep abreast of commercial and technical developments and maintain close relationships with transport magazines such as Containerisation International, Cargo Systems International, and World Cargo News.
