Marketing Role Specialist Shipping Storage, Container Sales & Leasing Co Ref 0256

Responsibilities include:

• Enquiries to buy second-hand equipment and enquiries to lease equipment.
• Managing stock and coordinating with the M&R function to ensure equipment is available.
• Quoting sale and lease rates within the broad guidelines of the Company.
• Managing their stocks
• Answering customer enquiries

Salary Range: Pnds 25k +
Monthly payable bonus scheme 25% -50% of salary.

Location Wimbledon SW London 5 mins from station.

Hours or work normally 0830 - 1730.

Essential skills and experience:

• Entrepreneurial approach to solving problems
• Understand the culture and have a good appraisal of the geography of their regions
• Ability to communicate with people from a wide geo-social range
• Good analytical and numerical skills
• 3-5 years experience of the maritime transport industry with an understanding of the technical and commercial terminology used

Desirable skills and experience:

• Language skills for the respective regions
• Forwarding Experience
• Sensitivity to the region

Interpersonal skills requirements:

• Ability to communicate at director level through to depot estimator
• Ability to build relationships with clients and suppliers at different levels and from different cultural backgrounds
